Design the BYU Design Review Logo and Win a Prize
Design the BYU Design Review logo and win a prize! We are giving away a Cricut Joy cutting machine. It can cut your designs in over 50 materials. After being around for a year and a half, it’s time for the BYU Design Review (BDR) to update its logo. We’re asking for some help from you in designing the logo of the BYU Design Review. The BDR exists to further the culture of design and engineering. The logo should capture that essence. Over the next year, we will be expanding to other outlets so if you win, you could see your logo on shirts, stickers, social media, and here on the website that gets 20,000+ page views per year.
Design Guidelines:
This is not your typical BYU Y Logo. We don’t want a block Y or Cosmo the cougar.
Strive for simplicity
It should integrate well with the look of the current BDR site.
It will need to be suitable for a wide range of applications from this site, to social media, to apparel.
Submission Instructions: You will need to submit two versions of the logo, one as a wide ( between 3:1 and 5:1) aspect ratio and the other file as a 1:1 square aspect ratio. Initial submissions should be in jpeg or png format, and if selected you will be asked for a vector file (i.e. photoshop or illustrator) file submission. Submissions should be made with the submission link below. The deadline for submissions is May 31st, 2021.
